Design concept
The image embodies a smiling look to convey the meaning of a smile appropriately but not too lightly. Stripes of colors used to color the image and the word ‘Smile’ are intended to express Korean beauty in a sophisticated manner.
- A plain font used to express the word ‘Geumjeong’ is for readability, and the gray color is to prevent the word from standing out too much. These considerations are to achieve holistic harmony.
- Speaking of the application of colors, blue is for Geumjeong, a city with vision as the gateway of Busan; green for greenery of Geumjeongsan Mountain and environmentally-friendly Geumjeong; gold for the never-dwindling Geumsaem Spring and the livable, rich city Geumjeong; and finally, pink for Geumjeongconcord.
